Keeping It Within The Family

To many of us at Holy Family School (HFS) special is only one of many words that helps describe what HFS means to us. As we embark in our 32nd year of academic service, we are proud to share that the meaning of our HFS community goes beyond what we expect when we first set foot onto our campus. We truly are a family!

Today, we have seven members of our staff who have chosen to have their children attend our school, not for convenience, but for the enriched community we all share.

Mrs. Styczynski, our Development Director, is an alumni of HFS and graduated in 1993. She is so proud to share her alma mater with her two daughters, a first grader and sixth grader. She couldn’t think of a better place for her family to be a part of.

Mrs. Lecheler is our fifth grade teacher and has a Preschooler. The Lecheler family has been a part of HFS for many years. Members of the Lecheler family include two alumni and a retired teacher.

Mrs. Nagashima is completing her first year as our Kindergarten teacher, but she is certainly no stranger to HFS, as she is also an alumni from the class of 1994. She currently has a fifth grader.

Mrs. Davied is our fabulous Occupational Therapist. She currently has a seventh grader, but has two graduate daughters from HFS. Her daughters frequently return as alumni to help with school events.

Mrs. Bowers is our second grade teacher and an alumni of the first graduating class of HFS in 1991. She currently has two children attending our school, a first grader and fifth grader. Mrs. Bowers’ parents are original members of the Holy Family Community and helped start the school.

Mrs. McRoberts is our wonderful second grade aid. Although her daughter will be graduating this year, they will continue to be a part of the school community. Her family is very involved in all our school events.

Mrs. Smearden is our third-grade teacher and currently has two children in 3rd and 7th grade attending HFS and another who has graduated. Mrs. Smearden and her family are very committed members of the school as well as the parish.

For these staff members, many would agree that the best investment they have made for their children and their family has been to send their children to Holy Family School.
